About Liz

My journey has taken me across the world—I’ve lived in Ireland, Spain, and now Australia, settling in the Tweed Heads area. Before becoming a language teacher, I studied architecture. I love bringing creativity into all my projects, including my Spanish lessons. I also enjoy staying active, so when I’m not teaching, you’ll find me practicing yoga and Pilates or training for my next big challenge—a marathon! I believe learning a language is more than just words; it’s about connection, culture, and having fun along the way. Seeing my students put in the effort and grow in confidence is the most rewarding part of my job.

About the lesson

My love for travel, meeting new people, and sharing my heritage led me to teaching—a passion I have been pursuing for the last three years. I personalize my classes based on your level and interests, whether you're preparing for a trip, improving your skills for work, or simply looking to practice and keep your Spanish sharp. To help you get started, I offer a free introductory class where we can assess your level and create a learning plan that works best for you. My lessons are available as one-on-one sessions or in small groups, depending on your level and preferences. I also offer conversation classes for those who want to dive straight into speaking, build confidence, and overcome the fear of using their Spanish—because, in the end, it's all about practice! After struggling to learn spanish by myself for an upcoming trip to Mexico I decided to get help.
Liz made learning spanish fun and easy! She gave me the basic foundations that I was missing and desperately needed to help me get by in Mexico.
Within the first 5 minutes of landing in Mexico City airport I was so grateful for all the lessons with Liz!
