About Julia

My approach to teaching is that everyone is capable of learning. It matters to me that learning differences are respected and embraced, and I have experience in adapting lessons and assignments at a high school level. My position in a private high school has ensured my ability to properly accommodate different needs, and I relish the opportunity to help those who struggle with history!

About the lesson

A few things that set my lessons apart:

I like to connect what you are interested in to history! It helps you to make connections, and it allows for more lively conversations!

I incorporate important figures of different genders and racial backgrounds in my classes, because history includes everyone!

I can adapt my approach based on what you need!

I am of the belief that there is ALWAYS more to uncover!
