About Bethany
I am currently a student studying BA History at the University of Bristol. I am twenty years old, and have four years of retail and hospitality experience, alongside five years of babysitting experience. I am incredibly passionate about all the subjects that I offer tutoring in, and achieved highly at A Level. In 2016 I pursued a tutoring scheme alongside my A levels, where I gave English tutoring to a thirteen year old boy who improved his average by five levels. The experience was incredibly rewarding, and I hope to have such success into the future!

I provide lessons for students who are studying for both their GCSEs and A Levels. I would also happily provide tutoring for students that are struggling with either History or English at pre- GCSE, high school age. My teaching method relies heavily on variety. From my own personal experience, I have found that with subjects such as History that require remembering and understanding a great deal of facts, dates and statistics, it is essential to use a wide range of revision techniques, for example; quizzes, colloquially talking about key figures, creating mind maps and making themeatic flash cards.

My rates will remain fixed, however the only circumstance under which they may increase is if I need to travel over ten miles to the student's house, although this will only be up £5.00.
