About Yevgeniy
As a current History, Politics and Economics student at University College London (UCL) I have experienced and overcome the challenges and pressures that the educational system often places on children. Having recently completed courses similar to those of current students, I am able to easily form positive tutor-student relationships as I understand and can relate to some of the struggles students can go through. This translates to my approach of teaching as I place a focus on ensuring lessons are fun and interesting, as greater success is achieved when you are engaged and enjoying your studies.
I have Advanced Higher (the Scottish equivalent of A-levels) in Economics, Geography and History (AAA) and am also bilingual so can tutor students in Russian.
The multi-disciplinary nature of my degree means I approach subjects from different perspectives. This is an invaluable tool in education and something I like to teach to my students, enabling them to achieve greater success and understanding of various topics.
My qualifications are supported by my experience teaching children. Prior to coming to university I taught English to university students in Vietnam for three months. This involved individual language and literature tutorials alongside typical classes. Additionally, I have experience tutoring home schooled students with learning difficulties (teaching Geography and History) and have worked as a swimming instructor for four months to children from the ages of 7-17. My wide range of experience teaching different ages of children, combined with my qualifications, demonstrate that I have the crucial combination of skills and knowledge needed to help your child reach their full potential.

Yevgeniy was an excellent tutor for my 10 year old daughters and they really improved their level in History thanks to him. He was patient and understanding and really helped them understand how to properly learn History and how to approach it.
Yevgeniy was a great tutor for my Sociology A-level really helping me to understand and clarifying some of the topics I was struggling with especially in theory and methods, religion and education. His tutorials are good and he made studying a little more fun as he gave me helpful revision tips.
