About Ben
I finished top of my cohort during my undergraduate degree and have just completed my masters at Pembroke College Oxford. I also received full marks (100 ums) in History at A-level.
I am very friendly and a patient teacher, I have lots of experience tutoring during my summers. I have also worked as a ski instructor and consider myself to be an attentive listener. I enjoy analogies and finding creative ways for my students to think about their subject matter and enjoy it.
I am based in central Norwich and am fully vaccinated. I am happy to do visits, receive tutees at my house or tutor online.

I am passionate and knowledgable about history and believe that my enthusiasm stimulates the interest of my tutees in their subject matter. I enjoy teaching essay skills and helping my students to hit the exact criteria on their mark schemes. I have a good understanding of what examiners look for across the different exam boards, with a proven track record of my tutees achieving their desired results.
My lesson are bespoke in accordance with the needs of the student, but they are typically structured around helping with essay/writing skills, going through past papers, analysing unseen sources and helping with understanding difficult concepts in the subject matter.
