About Kelvina

I'm a down-to-earth, easy-going 21-year-old First-Class History and Politics graduate, looking to assist students at GCSE and A-Level in English Literature and History.
Across my secondary and sixth-form studies I tutored fellow classmates in a casual capacity, as well as aiding younger family members. I currently work for Rievamp Tuition, teaching KS3 and KS4 students English and am DBS checked.
After completing my Undergraduate degree at the Uni of Warwick, I am currently undertking a Masters degree at UCL in Public History. In my spare time I enjoy nature walks, baking and am a bit of a film buff!

About the lesson

Techniques and methods Student-Centred: tailoring lessons to each student's needs and learning style Initial Assessment: identify strengths, weaknesses, and set goals Engagement: varied teaching methods, interactive tools, and active participation, including flashcards Feedback: provide regular assessments and constructive feedback Independence: encourage critical thinking and effective study skills Lesson Length Typical Duration: 60 minutes, adjustable based on student needs Qualifications and Experience Education: Degree in History and Politics from University of Warwick A*, A, A at A-Level and 10 grades 9-7 at GCSE I have experience tutoring younger family members and agemates at school, in a 'casual' manner. Target Students Levels: GCSE and A-Level aged students Subjects: English Literature and History My goal is to foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all students, to allow the students' needs and individual goals to shape each lesson and to enable them to work independently and individually, for the long-term.

Perfect! Kelvina was great at adjusting the lesson to my academic needs.
From the very first lesson, it was obvious that her attention to detail was above par and she helped me identify my weak spots in History and was working with me to overcome these issues.
I also enjoyed the fact that she is very fun as a tutor - i don't dread her lessons, i look forward to it!!
