About Ava

I am a sophomore at Arlington High School and I was the Lakeland Middle 8th Grade Valedictorian in 2019. I have completed Algebra I Honors, Geometry I Honors, Physical Science Honors, Biology Honors, English 9 Honors, Spanish I and II Honors, and AP Human Geography. I am currently taking Algebra II Honors, Chemistry Honors, English 10 Honors, and Honors Fine Arts classes. I excel best at math and math-based sciences, like chemistry and physics. I currently half over a 4.5 GPA and my lowest grade last year was a 98 in English. I am good with the grammar side of English and the grammar side of beginning Spanish. I frequently help my friends and classmates with understanding topics and I would love to help you or your child.

About the lesson

My teaching method is very helpful to Kinetic and Visual learners. When ever I help someone with homework, I help them understand it, not just give answers. I believe that that is the only for people to learn is to learn it and understand it for themselves. I would show them how to do it, give them examples, and give them a chance to do it on their own. I can come up with lesson plans or I follow the school teacher's and help the student learn in a way they understand.
