About Cagatay
Hi, my name is Cagatay, and I’m from the United States. Being fluent in both English and Turkish, as well as having an upper-intermediate level of Spanish, allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. My experience growing up bilingual has given me a broader understanding of the challenges students face when learning English. As a double major in Computer Science and Creative Writing, I bring both structure and creativity to my lessons, making the learning process effective and enjoyable. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their language goals, whether they’re learning for work, education, or personal growth. I have three years of experience teaching one-on-one lessons and two years of conducting English courses specifically designed for adults. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, whether it’s mastering conversational English, improving grammar, or developing fluency with an American accent. I specialize in building confidence and guiding students to speak English comfortably and naturally, even if they are starting from scratch or learning to meet workplace demands. My goal is to make the learning process both enjoyable and effective, helping students reach a level where they can speak English confidently in any setting.
