About Jaime
Teaching Mathematics is always my passion. Even though I got a full ride scholarship to study Engineering, I still chose to take Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics because I know I really would like to be a Math teacher. I had that realization when my 8th grade teacher asked me to teach the whole class. I started my teaching profession at the age of 20 and after 31 years, I still enjoy imparting knowledge to young minds.

I have a lot of experience teaching all levels of students and students of varying abilities so I could easily gauge whether the student is understanding the material or not. I usually base the phasing of the lesson and style of teaching according to the ability of the students. Since my background is really mathematics education, I have a deeper understanding of concepts and how to impart them to students. I also teach teachers and so I know that even teachers have so many misconceptions and I make sure that I eliminate all those wrong ideas so students will be more successful in their higher Math.
