About Marie-France

My Methodology: Rigor Meets Empathy My teaching philosophy is built on two pillars: professional rigor and empathy. I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach. Instead, I offer: Personalized Learning Plans: We will focus on your specific goals, whether it's improving conversation, mastering grammar, or passing a specific exam.

- Native Excellence: As a native speaker with a DALF C2 certification (score of 97/100), I provide my students with an authentic grasp of the language, from nuances in pronunciation to advanced composition.

- Modern Tools: I am proficient in using digital platforms like Google Classroom and Meet to make our online sessions interactive and efficient.

Who Can I Help?

Children & Teens: Support with school curriculum, homework, and exam prep.
College & University Students: Assistance with literature, history, or advanced linguistics.
Adults: Business French, conversational skills, or intensive language recovery.

About the lesson

About Me

Hi! I’m Marie-France, a native Montrealer with over 15 years of international experience in education. After a successful career as a teacher in the Italian public school system, I have returned to my roots in Montreal and am excited to help you master the French language.

Whether you are a beginner, a university student, or a professional looking to polish your skills, I bring a wealth of academic and practical knowledge to our lessons.

My Background & Experience: I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the Université de Montréal and a Master’s level degree (Italian Laurea Magistrale) in Foreign Languages and Literatures.

My professional journey has been diverse, allowing me to adapt to any student's needs:
1) I served for over six years as a permanent teacher within the Italian National Education system, where I also mentored new teachers.
2) Exam Specialist: I have extensive experience preparing students for international certifications, including DELF (A1 to B2).
3) Corporate Trainer: I have provided specialized French training for employees at major international groups such as AXA and Altran.
4) Inclusive Pedagogy: I am highly experienced in working with students who have special educational needs (SEN/BES), ensuring that every learner finds their path to success.
