About Jamie

I'm friendly and approachable with a real emphasis and passion in getting the best out of students. I think it's important to get to know students so that we can set up bespoke sessions. Whether you want a whole weekly lesson plan laid out or if you want to focus one specific area then we can discuss this to suit your needs.

About the lesson

Hi I'm Jamie, I have been teaching music production at degree level for 7 + years. I specialise in dance music and mixing techniques but I can cater to all styles and genres. All skill levels are welcome, I teach beginners up to intermediate. I have a BA in popular music and have had my music published in TV shows as well as releases on labels. Perfect! The lesson went well and I improved.
Jamie showed me techniques that I had always wanted to know like pitch control, he also showed me what my mixer can do, this I found interesting and set me homework.

Oliver was great. He had a very well looked after set of equipment and obviously takes his interest in learning seriously.
He listened to the information intently and carried out the instructions perfectly. With plenty of practice I'm confident that Oliver will achieve his goal of beat matching and mixing vinyl.

Words are unable to explain how good Jamie is at teaching music production. Feom the day I met him he brought out a side of creativity and belief in what I wanted to achieve and am now on path to a great career in the music industry down to Jamie and his knowledge of the music industry.
