I had to work in Paris for some months and I wanted to be able to understand and speak basic French starting from zero. While I did a basic introductory course in a language school,  I  relied even more on Alexandra -  whom I knew as a professional interpreter - for a personalised tutoring. That really enabled me to improve much faster and I am very glad I chose her. She designed lessons around my needs (even on the spot based on my request that day), and she always found a way to keep them interesting and engaging so that time really fled during lessons. Briefly, she is an extremely patient, likeable and encouraging teacher that made learning fun rather than another task during the day. Especially if you are a professional that has to combine learning the language with your daily work, having a teacher that makes it fun really helps motivate you. 

I really liked also that she could illustrate French accents in different regions\ countries of the world. It helps that she is a very well travelled person who lived in several countries and interacted with French speaking people from any part of the world given her job as an interpreter for  international organisations. Honestly I can't think of somebody more qualified. Impossible to be disappointed.

Alexandra helped me when I started my new role as a financial consultant - I was in a bilingual team and had a great deal of Francophone clients. I really wanted to be able to communicate well and make my clients feel at ease in French. She gets Montreal, its culture and has an impeccable accent!
