About Carmen
I am originally from Bavaria, where I completed my masters in German Linguistics and Literature, and since then I've devoted my life to spreading my knowledge of German language and culture. In my three decade career, I've worked at various government ministries such as the MOD, BIZ and the Cabinet Office, I've trained the likes of Theresa May and Robert Jackson, and taught non-German Deutsche Bank executives to communicate with their colleagues. I have experience both in the finance sector and also the legal profession. I have also been a traditional school teacher, so am comfortable teaching any kind of student at any level of German. I am also passionate about sharing my cultural background.

My lessons are targeted to the specific needs of each of my students. I have taught hundreds of people from all walks of life and from different national and linguistic backgrounds, so my broad experience allows me to tailor my lessons to your needs precisely.
In our first session, I will ask you some questions about your level of German, your goals and how quickly you would like to achieve them, and with that information I can plan a series of lessons specifically for you.
