About Mandy
I have a Bachelors degree in English and Psychology and I am a teacher and counsellor at a school in Cape Town where I have been teaching English, Tourism, Economics and Business Studies to children ages twelve to twenty years for nine years. I also tutor privately to all ages.

I am an innovative teacher as I use visual, aural and kinaesthetic teaching methods so that each child remains active and focused during lessons. I love to have class discussions, debates and to get involved in creative fun projects. I teach my lessons while allowing students to ask as many questions as they like and I like to pair my students in the classroom so that they may discuss and complete the required curriculum activities together. As our school has many foreign students, I explain the meaning of all concepts as I teach the subject matter as understanding is the key to enjoying the work and maximizing results.
