I focus on making math make sense. Instead of just memorizing formulas, I help students understand the logic behind them so the concepts stick.
I start lessons with a quick review of previous material, then working through practice problems to understand newer topics. We work through examples until students are comfortable doing them on their own.
Additionally, I'm patient and explain things in multiple ways to ensure comprehension. I focus on making sure students understand the process of each problem.
