My lessons are built around clarity, confidence, and curiosity. I focus on helping middle school students truly understand why math works, not just how to follow steps. I begin by identifying what the student already knows, then build concepts logically using clear explanations, visual models, and real-world examples. I frequently ask students to explain ideas back to me, which reinforces understanding and reveals gaps early.
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of prior material, followed by direct instruction on a new concept. We then work through guided practice problems together before transitioning to independent problems with targeted support. I always end lessons by summarizing key takeaways and previewing what comes next.
What sets me apart is my patience and precision: I adapt explanations to each student’s learning style and never rush understanding. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students (grades 6–11), including arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra foundations, trigonometry, chemistry, and problem-solving skills, whether they need remediation, confidence-building, or enrichment.
