About Nicholas
I am finishing my first year of Teacher's College at York University in the High School Science stream. I have an Honours BSc in Life Science and a BA in Philosophy. I worked in an analytical chemistry lab for 3.5 years prior to and while attending Teacher's College. I have tutored in Physics previously.

I like to include an easy "minds-on" activity at the beginning of the class to get students thinking and engaged. After looking at the specific expectations in the curriculum for the course, I devise a short presentation and activity to get students working with the subject in different ways. Then the student will do an extension where they can apply the concepts learned, and finally a consolidation to wrap it up.
