About Dennis
I graduated from UCSD with a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and from the University of Rochester with a doctoral degree in Neuroscience. I plan to remain in academia, with the goal of becoming an independent researcher and educator. I have experience leading tutoring sessions at the university level, helping students learn topics such as programming. I am dedicated to supporting students who need extra help, and I approach tutoring with patience and a commitment to maximizing your learning experience. I am confident I won’t let you down.

It would be my pleasure to be part of your path toward success. My expertise lies in mathematics, statistics, and programming (MATLAB), and I will tailor each session to meet your unique requirements. If you’re preparing for college or graduate school, I can also provide guidance in that area. For the SAT, I focus on teaching mathematics, as writing and reading aren’t my favorite areas—I already do plenty of that for my research! However, if you’re interested in writing scientific research articles, I’d be happy to assist with that as well. Let’s have a conversation to ensure we’re a good fit as mentor and mentee.
