About Cara
Plain and simple - I'm a nerd. I love all things Math and believe all things are Math. When I was a teacher in the classroom, I made sure that all of my students had my personal number and told them to contact me anytime for Math help. I would get texts in the middle of the night from struggling students and just be thrilled to help them every time. I am just stepping out of the classroom for some extra flexibility in my schedule, but am always a Math teacher no matter what.

I have broken my lessons down so that I know what skills, knowledge, and processes students will need to understand each concept. I start at the fundamental level and, with ample practice, work up to more challenging problems. I am patient and positive with my students and believe that there is a brilliant mathematician hidden in all of us. Most of my lessons will cater to anyone in 8th grade or higher. I have a variety of material for all types of learners from worksheets to games to puzzles and more!
