About Isha

I'm a rising junior at high school and I love to teach elementary and middle school kids. I have 7 AP classes and I'm also into extra curricular activities like dancing (10+ years), swimming (7+ years), clubs and being an officer at those clubs, and volunteering. I can manage my time in a very efficient way and I like to stay organized. I'm a responsible and a hard-working person too.  I believe that learning should always be a fun process and so I will ensure it's not stressful to those I teach. I also like to create and teach using interesting powerpoint slides and I also like to get to know my students. I will also conduct weekly quizzes and tests to ensure my students don't forget what they're learning. I also like to stay organized and keep a track of who is lacking where and what I can do to improve it.

About the lesson

I usually read the lesson I plan on teaching and make notes in my notebook beforehand. I like to stay organized by having a set of notes beside me while teaching the lesson. I would start a new lesson with an introduction. I will teach the kids using my own powerpoint slides and then refer to their school notes as well, which were given by their teacher. Finally, I will make them practice a lot and review it again and again and I will also conduct weekly quizzes and tests.  I often tutor my own sister, who is in 7th grade and hence I know how to teach elementary and middle school kids. What sets me apart is that I like to make learning fun by using funny acronyms to remember even the smallest of details from their lesson. I also love to create powerpoint slides which are appealing at sight. As I said, I also like to stay organized, keeping a track of who's lacking where and how they can improve in that field. I would love to see everyone I teach show an improvement in their grades.
