About Dorothy
I have 11 years of experience teaching all levels of math. I am passionate about mathematics and I love my job. I have taught over 1,500 high school students. I generally have a class of about 30 kids at a time. I am able to teach concepts in multiple ways based on your personal learning style. Students normally perform very well (85% or higher) on standardized tests in my classes. I have had students who go off to college and write back to me that my classes and teaching methods helped them do better than their peers.

I have an Undergrad Degree in Mathematics Education and I am certified for grades 6 - 12 and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I have taught all levels of high school math. I currently teach Accelerated PreCalculus and IB Math which includes Calculus and Statistics. I am AP certified in Calculus BC and Statistics. My favorite subject is Trigonometry. I always incorporate creativity and fun into my lessons. My students score an average of 91% on the state standardized test (EOC).
