About Divya
I am currently a Senior in high school, I have been doing math tutoring in my school for four years now for students in Elementary through High School. I have taken numerous AP Math classes and have studied Pre-Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, and Statistics. I also know basic math principles such as multiplication, division, fractions, etc. very well. I am the Valedictorian of my class and I really do love to teach others as not only to I get to serve my community and help others, I also get to improve my skills along the way!

Hello! I am a high school senior who has been tutoring in math for about 4 years now and I have taught elementary school math to high school math. I have studied Pre-Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, and Statistics. I also know basic math principles such as multiplication, division, fractions, etc. very well. My basic teaching method is working through problems with students and giving them assistance and methods to use along the way so that they get into the habit of using certain formulas and techniques with a specific problem. I am a believer that in math specifically, the key to learning is the repetition of problems and understanding how these problems function as you solve them. I also think it is vital to take a break and relax when needed as doing a whole bunch of problems at one time without really taking the time to understand the concepts will not help.

Details
With the current pandemic I would greatly prefer to teach over webcam which would allow me to teach anyone in any area! I am also very flexible with my teaching schedule. In terms of cancellations, I would prefer it if you could let me know at least two to three hours before if not the day before.
