About Yuna
As someone who's been tutored before, I understand the importance of the impact of a tutor and the bond they form with a student. My goal is to make a safe space for my students and nurture their development in a way that their teachers may not be able to. Before I go off to college, I have a lot of free time! I can prioritize my students and meet with them as often as they need. But, I can definitely maintain our lessons through college as well!
I prefer to tutor children (I teach instrumental skills and music theory to children), but I can also teach students who are of similar age to me (I taught English to a Ukrainian student who was a year younger than me).

Depending on the student, I can make my own lesson plans, or I can follow along with their school curriculum. I'll give them a healthy amount of personalized tests, and acing those will be the accumulative goal of each lesson. I often become friends with my students, but I know when to draw the line and stay professional.
