About Prahlad

I completed Highschool in Australia at one of the country's top high schools, Brisbane State High School. There I studied Maths, English, Engineering, Computer Science, Geography and Accounting. I excelled in these subjects and I am looking to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of students as did my tutors. Although I didn't study history, or philosophy in an official capacity I have a keen interest in them which makes me knowledgeable in that area.

I love food, cooking, reading and writing science fiction and the arts, which include martial arts, painting and street art, movies and comic books.

About the lesson

By creating and developing personalised learning plans and lessons around each individual's current level, learning speed and goals, I will not only provide the coaching necessary to excel in the particular subjects but I will also provide the toolset to learn how to learn.

Under the Maths umbrella I cover; algebra, trigonometry, geometry, statistics and basic engineering

The length of the sessions can vary from a quick 15-minute catch up session to a full 2-hour study bonanza.

These lessons are aimed at school students in Year 11 and below.

Outline of what we will cover for each year;

Year 11: Setup knowledge for success to achieve NCEAs (or other countries equivalent highschool certification outside of New Zealand) + goal setting for the future

Year 10: Setup for specific subject pathways and knowledge required for the next year + goal setting for the future

Year 9: Knowledge to excel in the current year and set up good learning practices for the rest of secondary school

Year 8: Knowledge to excel in the current year and set up for secondary school

Year 7 and below: Knowledge to excel in the current year and next year

In these sessions, subjects other than Math can be discussed. Please don't hesitate to ask me.
