About Chloe

Attending the French International School in Maryland helped me feel more connected to the French side of myself in terms of speaking the language but also learning the culture. I've always enjoyed language classes in general such as English or French literature because they placate to my strong writing and creative skills. With me you will feel more confident speaking French extemporaneously!

About the lesson

-Through one-on one tutoring you will become a well rounded French speaker and learn how to communicate in academic settings as well as light hearted ones, such as with family or friends.

-A typical lesson will begin with a review of what was covered last, then a transition into the new topic for the day. This can mean looking at French news articles, French poetry, a short story, or a chapter book tailored to your skill level. As we look at these texts we will go over key words, sentence structures, conjugation and slowly build the skills necessary to converse, write and comprehend in French.

- I am flexible with the manner in which we meet: your house, coffee shop, library or remotely. Additionally, since tutoring consists of one on one sessions I believe in personalized education where you can even suggest to me anything you’d like to learn and I can include it in the lesson plan.

- The lessons are for beginners and intermediates who want to enhance their french speaking abilities or for people who are currently taking french in highschool or college and need help with their homework.
