About Irene
I am a student who attended UWC East Africa and took Math SL as one of my IB subjects where I received a 7 in my final.
I am very easy to work with because I am flexible, and I am good at explaining. Additionally, I did Extended Mathematics for my IGCSE, where I received an A (87%). I have tutored a few of my classmates before and have helped people prepare for their IGCSE exams.

When teaching, I always prefer to have the person I am tutoring evaluate themselves by doing what I call the traffic light method. The student will go through each topic in their syllabus and colour in the level of difficulty where red is hard and green is easy or comfortable.
The method above allows me to know how to move forward with lessons and helps me track progress early on. Lastly, it helps us both focus on areas of improvement, and soon enough, the reds turn to green.
