High school English teacher looking to help students develop their reading Comprehension skills and essay writing skills.

I work with Mary in the ELA Department at the high school that we both teach at, where she serves as our department head. I have had the opportunity to support Mary in her classroom on a regular basis this school year. I have consistently been impressed by her professionalism, dedication, and the positive relationships that she builds with students. Mary creates an engaging and supportive learning environment, where students feel confident and motivated to succeed. Her deep knowledge of English Language Arts, along with her patient and encouraging teaching style, make her not only a strong classroom teacher, but also an ideal tutor. Mary knows how to meet students where they are to help them grow, both academically and personally.
