About Aayush

I am a Year 10 student at Kambrya College with a strong academic record in Mathematics, consistently achieving above 95% in Year 10 Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. I am passionate about helping younger students develop confidence and strong foundations in math, particularly in the early years of learning. I have achieved Distinctions in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) across 2022–2024, Distinctions in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) Mathematics, and the Highest Individual Score in the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO). I have also participated in the Victorian High Ability Program (VHAP) for Mathematics and the Kangourou Sans Frontières (KSF) competition multiple times. I enjoy making math simpler and more approachable for students by breaking down concepts clearly and adapting to each student’s learning style.

About the lesson

I teach Mathematics for students from Prep to Year 7, focusing on building strong foundational skills in arithmetic, fractions, decimals, basic algebra, problem-solving, and overall mathematical confidence. My approach is flexible and adapted to each student’s individual learning needs, allowing me to adjust explanations and pace based on how they understand best, rather than following a rigid structure. I aim to make math clear, approachable, and engaging, helping students develop confidence and improve their skills over time. I offer online lessons only, making it convenient and accessible for students to learn from home while still receiving personalized support.

Aayush is a great math tutor. He explains things clearly and goes step by step so it’s easy to understand. He’s also funny, which makes lessons more relaxed and enjoyable. He adjusts to what you need, whether it’s homework or test prep, and he makes sure you really get it. I highly recommend him.
