Hi! I’m a high school student currently taking all honors and AP classes, and I specialize in tutoring algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus. Because I’m in high school myself, I understand the pressure students face and the common roadblocks that make math confusing. About the lesson

As a high school student with a strong academic record in math, I offer tutoring in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus for middle and high school students. I understand how challenging math can feel, so I focus on making concepts clear, approachable, and even enjoyable.

My teaching method is all about breaking down complex ideas into simple steps. I explain the “why” behind each concept, not just the “how,” so students build real understanding instead of just memorizing formulas. I adapt each session to the student's pace, strengths, and areas that need improvement.

A typical lesson starts with reviewing homework or previous topics to check understanding, followed by a clear explanation of new material using examples and practice problems. I ask a lot of questions to make sure the student is thinking actively and not just watching me solve problems.

What sets me apart is that I’ve learned all these topics recently, so I know where students get stuck and how to explain things in a way that makes sense now—not just from a textbook point of view. I’m patient, friendly, and focused on helping students feel confident in math.
