About Valeria

I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in English and German with Distinction in spoken German from the University of Exeter. In my native Italy, I attended a high school for languages and earned an Italian diploma along with a French Bac Littéraire. I was also awarded a Certiligua Label of excellence by the European Union, which attests my high level of proficiency in the main European languages. I have had experience tutoring both at college and at university. I always provide highlights of the main points taught during our session and extra exercises both in printed form and/or email. I am confident tutoring children, adult learners, and students alike and I tailor both my approach and programme according to the tutee's needs, goals, and language level. University : - University of Exeter - English and German [First Class with Distinction in Spoken German] Prizes and Scholarships : I have received the Mario and Lina Zavattaro scholarship for 7 years in a row Other Qualifications : Esame di Stato/ Maturità. Overall Mark: 100/100 ESABAC Baccalauréat Littéraire. Overall Mark: 14/15

Victoria

I have known Valeria for almost four years now, during which time she has proven time and again that she is reliable, patient and extraordinarily hardworking.
She has a wonderfully kind manner when helping others with their language skills, and an incredible aptitude for the foundations of languages. This in turn enables her to explain concepts in simple and easy to understand terms.
Through her own enthusiasm and dedication, Valeria is fluent in four languages, and would encourage this same dedication when tutoring others.

Having worked alongside Valeria, I can confirm that she is a very committed, trustworthy person who always hands in assignments on time. She speaks excellent German and perfect English (most people mistake her for a native English speaker), and is also very friendly and approachable.
