About Kshitij

Kshitij Sheetak is a filmmaker, photographer, and entrepreneurial innovator who has been at the forefront of creative solutions that challenge tradition. For over a decade, Kshitij has pushed the boundaries on what is possible in the world of storytelling throughout the entire filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production.

Kshitij’s path into the world of film was an indirect one. After receiving his MBA in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, he was determined to make a name for himself in marketing by honing his ability to connect with audiences by reimagining marketing for products, services, and business models. While he was successful in driving change, he realized his strengths lay in the actual production of messaging.

Since that time, unafraid to take risks that capture an audience’s attention, Kshitij has earned the respect of his clients and colleagues for his work from corporate films and documentaries to feature films and inspirational travel projects. Kshitij has been trusted by organizations including Outlook Traveller, Apollo Group, Mahindra, Isuzu, Havells, NDTV, TLC, and Fox Life to bring their creative vision to the screen. As an independent producer, he has intrigued audiences with his feature film (‘Narayan’ (IMDB) released nationwide) and been honored at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival for his work (Mystery Man (written and directed by Vibha Singh).

Throughout Kshitij’s journey has had the opportunity to mentor budding filmmakers and always felt he should do more. It was this idea that gave birth to Shoot Guru. Shoot Guru is a platform that promises to nurture and handhold aspiring filmmakers and photographers to become the best in whatever they do. Founded in 2017 by Kshitij (DOP, Lumix Mentor) and Kabeer Lal (Photographer, Lumix Mentor), in 4 short years, they’ve conducted more than 500 online and offline workshops. The Shoot Guru community has grown to 149k+ followers over Instagram, 6000+ Shoot Guru App downloads, 6k+ YouTube Subscribers, and 9k+ Facebook followers. Kshitij is proud that Shoot Guru is pleased to offer the best equipment experience to all their students through the support of brands like Panasonic(Camera), Aputure(Lights), Hollyland(Wireless), Deity(Audio), F-Stop(Bags), and XP-Pen(Design Tablets). Some of the Shoot Guru’s notable projects include Swiss Tourism, Malaysia Tourism, Marriott Hotel, Mahindra Groups, MP Tourism, and Jammu Tourism.

The bigger vision of Shoot Guru is to handhold a Million People in their journey of growth via the Shoot Guru App. In the process, Kshitij has been doing Free content via youtube and the app. Along with online learning programs the Shoot Guru Academy located in Gurgaon, India is providing 100% practical experiences to all connected content creators. With the thought that the future depends on collaborations, Kshitij also believes in working with like-minded people.

Today, Kshitij is a sought-after speaker traveling around India and the world, teaching new and experienced content creators better techniques, not just through technology but through better storytelling ideas. About the lesson

Based on a practical learning approach, I teach the realities of the media industry and what goes on behind the camera. With on-ground life experience and live projects, I give you the best results that will help you grow.

I'd like to base my classes in accordance with the current media platforms. In short, it will be fun learning media, no stress whatsoever, what's important is you understand the basics of it and further progressing to apply it for your studies.

1. Learn Filmmaking – from preproduction to postproduction
2. Learn photography – learn to shoot various set up in photography like fashion, portrait, corporate, architecture, food, and product.
3. Master Social media marketing – Learn how to market your product or services and reach the correct audience in the process of becoming the next big influencer.
