I passed high school. Disliked every English teacher I had. Felt like every class was both insulting to literature and demeaning to people who couldn’t understand English well. Don’t have any degrees in the field, but I do have a lot of passion for language and teaching.

Behind every story lies a person, and vice versa. I like to think freely and find patterns in a chapter or topic, and bring in other school subjects to try and accommodate for students that lack interest in the subject. Literature is everywhere, quite literally. This very advertisement is literature. Why then must it be so difficult for numerous students across the country?
