About Isabelle

Hi, I'm Isabelle! I'm a Bioengineering graduate with a 2:1 degree and a real interest in maths, science and helping others learn. I studied Maths and Physics at A-Level and understand how challenging these subjects can sometimes feel.

I've previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, supporting students with different needs and learning styles. This experience taught me the importance of patience, clear explanations and adapting how you teach to suit the individual.

I enjoy helping people work through problems, understand concepts that initially seem difficult and develop confidence in their own abilities. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. My aim is to make Maths and Physics feel more manageable and help every student feel proud of the progress they make.

About the lesson

I offer tailored Maths and Physics lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, with each session shaped around the student's individual goals. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, working towards an exam or aiming for a higher grade, we'll focus on what you need most.

I aim to make lessons clear, structured and engaging. We can work through difficult concepts step by step, practise exam-style questions and identify areas where further explanation would help. I also encourage students to explain their thinking, so they develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorising methods.

Lessons are flexible and can focus on strengthening foundations, tackling challenging topics or building exam technique. My aim is to help you approach problems more independently and feel better prepared for your exams.
