About Amber

I am a student at Grand Canyon University where I am working on my bachelors degree in social work. I believe my positive and energetic attitude encourages people to feel welcomed by me and enjoy working with me. I have a natural ability to be friendly towards everyone I meet and I honestly want to help others however I can. Music is something I am passionate about, so I like to incorporate music into my teaching; I think music is a universal language and has the ability to speak profoundly to anyone.

About the lesson

I utilize empowerment and encouragement strategies to help my students achieve their goals. By using strength based strategies, students work to build on their strengths and gradually improve their weakness. Students are encouraged to reach educational goals they have set for themselves by viewing their progress.
