About Shravya
I’m a working professional in the data industry with hands-on experience using SQL in real-world business environments. I work with data daily—writing queries, analyzing datasets, and solving practical problems—so my teaching is grounded in what’s actually used on the job, not just textbook examples.
I take a clear, structured, and student-focused approach to teaching. My goal is to help learners truly understand SQL, build confidence, and apply their skills in academic, professional, and interview settings. I explain concepts step by step, encourage questions, and adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace.
Classes are well-organized, interactive, and designed to deliver measurable progress. Whether you’re learning SQL for the first time or strengthening your foundations for a data-related role, I’m committed to supporting you throughout your learning journey.

As an SQL instructor, my goal is to make database concepts simple, practical, and immediately usable. I focus on building strong fundamentals while helping learners gain confidence through hands-on practice and real-world examples.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
-Concept-first, practice-driven approach: I explain why something works before showing how to use it.
-Hands-on learning: Every concept is followed by practical SQL queries and exercises.
-Real-world examples: I use realistic datasets (sales, users, products, etc.) so students can relate SQL to actual jobs.
-Incremental difficulty: We start from basic queries and gradually move to joins, subqueries, and performance tips.
-Interactive problem-solving: Students are encouraged to think through problems and write queries themselves.
Usual Structure of a Class:
-Quick recap of previous concepts
-Introduction of a new topic with clear explanations
-Live demonstrations of SQL queries
-Guided practice exercises
-Independent problem-solving
My Special Features as a Teacher
-I explain complex SQL concepts in simple, beginner-friendly language
-I focus on job-relevant skills, not just theory
-I’m patient and adapt explanations based on the learner’s level
I share common mistakes and best practices used in the industry
I help students think in a analytics point of view, not just write queries. Connect to know more.

I met Shravya through a mutual friend and took face-to-face SQL classes with her. I really appreciated how clearly she explained concepts and how practical her teaching approach was. The sessions were well-structured, easy to follow, and focused on real-world understanding. I’d highly recommend Shravya to students and early-career professionals looking to build strong SQL foundations.
