I am here to make conversational English fun and enjoyable. We can even speak more specifically about music, psychology, or even tennis!

I have known Jen for approximately thirty-five (35) years having first met her through Girl Scouting. At that time I was the leader of a Senior Girl Scout troop, shepherding about six high school girls through the highest award in Girl Scouting, the Gold Award, which is equivalent to the Boy Scout's Eagle program.

Jen stood out immediately as one of the most enthusiastic, dedicated and organized of this outstanding group. She was - and is - driven to succeed and is committed to excellence. Not only does Jen still exhibit these qualities, but she has also developed into a very qualified "people person."

Jen and I have stayed in close contact over the years and I have been impressed with her accomplishments as an adult. Jen has done peer tutoring for years, both at college and as a college graduate, and has been interested in languages all her life.

In fact, since 2016 Jen has been doing on-line tutoring of people from all over the world who are learning English as a second language. Jen's firm grasp of the English language, paired with her delightful sense of humor and people skills, make her well-positioned to excel.

I highly recommend Jen and am confident that she will continue to exercise her impressive skills helping diverse peoples to hone their use of the English language.

I recommend Genevieve King highly for teaching and facilitating English conversation. In my experience working with Genevieve, a major strength has been that she is adaptable and can adjust conversations to both meet the student where they are, and to also provide the encouragement needed to move ahead. She builds on prior success. I've also noted that she uses student interests in guiding conversation and integrating new vocabulary.

Genevieve has a friendly demeanor, while remaining professional at all times. She integrates corrections gently, without interrupting the flow of conversation. She has had experience using language learning platforms and she is organized and responsible. Genevieve would be an excellent choice for a virtual conversation program.

Sincerely,

Mary Bray Morgan
