About Sylvia

Teaching mathematics has been my passion for over 7 years, and statistics is where I specialize. Holding an MSc in Statistics and Data Science, I bring deep expertise in probability, data analysis, and research methods. I guide students through essential topics such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and data visualization. These tools allow us to explore questions, validate ideas, and draw evidence-based conclusions. I combine theory with practice by using statistical software like R and Python. Lessons encourage curiosity, experimentation, and problem-solving. I guide learners to apply maths confidently in digital contexts. Step-by-step explanations build intuition and skill. Together, we make maths part of your coding and computational journey. My approach supports learners in achieving both mastery and confidence. Learning is structured, meaningful, and enjoyable.
