About Mavis
"Barre chords and improvisation feel best when your fingers finally stop aching from the pressure. I remember sitting in my dorm at Humber College, repeating the same rhythm guitar patterns until they became second nature.
My 13 years of teaching have brought me into contact with 352 students who all started exactly where you are today. I emphasize ear training and reading tabs because these skills create independence on the fretboard. You will solo with confidence soon."
