About Katie
I am a friendly, patient and approachable person who enjoys working with children and helping them learn and develop. I have a qualification as a Classroom Assistant and experience working with primary school children, including in after-school homework clubs and group activities. I enjoy creating a positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I want to tutor because I would love to use my experience to support children preparing for their Transfer Test and help them feel more confident in their abilities.

I provide friendly and supportive Transfer Test tutoring for primary school children. I have qualifications as a Classroom Assistant and experience working with primary school children, including helping in after-school homework clubs and group activities. I am also qualified to work with children with special needs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to their individual needs and abilities.
I can help with Maths, English, problem-solving, practice questions, exam techniques and time management. My lessons are relaxed and encouraging, helping children build confidence while improving their skills and understanding.
I want every child to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My aim is to make preparation enjoyable while helping children feel confident and well prepared for their Transfer Test.
