About Kathryn
How does it feel to finally understand the flow of a native speaker during a quick exchange? I pace our sessions based on your specific goals while ensuring we integrate weekly conversation recordings reviewed together. Since I hold a degree from Concordia, I bring a structured approach to exam preparation for IELTS, DELE, and DELF candidates. We tackle travel French and conversational fluency with a patient, hands-on style that emphasizes clarity.

Ever wonder if your French studies could actually help you navigate a real conversation in Montreal or Paris? I draw on 12 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Concordia University to support learners.
My students range from French learners who want to sing chanson to serious folks prepping for the DELF or DALF exams. It feels like a natural extension of my own identity as a first generation French Canadian musician to share these cultural nuances. I focus on grammar and writing skills that actually matter for your relocation or immigration paperwork.
Dealing with verb conjugation and complex idioms often feels heavy but we keep it light. I want to see you reach that high level of fluency you have been chasing.
