About Yehoshua
I have been confidently speaking and reading English since I was two and have experience proofreading and editing books. Sharing what I know feels rewarding, and it’s a great way to make a positive impact while earning some money. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working on a documentary I’m directing for a school project, playing video games, and spending time with my family. My favorite way to help students is by having them read paragraphs out loud to practice proper pronunciation. For beginners, I assist with sounding out letters and gradually building up to forming words. Ultimately, I aim to help students teach themselves. I have helped several people with school essays and younger kids with spelling, reading, and writing. Having studied abroad for three years, I have developed great patience. I am also learning Hebrew on the side, so I understand how students feel when learning something new, which makes me an understanding and supportive tutor.
