About Isaac

Alright, so here is a little bit more about me. Ever since I was a little kid, I was "that guy" in the class that actually enjoyed math and science. This sent me down the engineering career path through which I had to complete 4 levels of calculus, 2 levels of physics, and a multitude of engineering classes that combined both math and physics. Through the process of getting my degree, I became accustomed to the math an physics concepts, and more importantly, how to use them to solve real world problems.

The only downside to engineering is that you don't often get to work one on one directly helping people. So, that brings me here. Throughout my life I have had opportunities to teach my younger siblings, fellow class mates, and I also helped teach robotics to elementary school students. In addition, I have helped coach soccer on several occasions. Through this, I found that I genuinely enjoy teaching others and seeing the growth and improvement in their abilities. Most of all, I love seeing them feel encouraged and confident in their capabilities. It is truly a blessing to be a part of that process.

About the lesson

Thanks for checking out my page! I am here to offer math and/or physics lessons for any level up to and including bachelor level college courses.

I strongly believe in understanding the underlying concepts of a given problem and the reason behind those concepts. I teach about the "why?". I do not believe in simply memorizing how to solve problems, and I also do not believe in guiding you too much so that you are not thinking for yourself (as nice as that would be, unfortunately it's not how learning happens haha).

The lesson will be in your control. We can switch topics, change methods, or repeat anything as much as you like. The goal is to get you to a place where you feel confident approaching any problem thrown your way.
