I tailor each lesson to the exam board (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, CIE, etc.) so you can maximise marks by aligning answers to the mark schemes. I simplify difficult concepts in organic chemistry (reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, aromatic chemistry) into clear steps for you to learn it. In physical chemistry, topics like thermodynamics, equilibria, kinetics can be less overwhelming by us linking the theory with practice questions and step-by-step calculations. For Biology, I focus on linking processes and understanding theory together (like respiration, nervous system, genetics) so you can see the bigger picture when answering questions, reduce pressure to memorise facts. Exam technique training is important and we will learn how to phrase answers exactly the way examiners want. Confidence in applying your knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios, will help boost your marks. My lessons are for GCSE and A level students at any age. Lessons can range from 30 - 1 hour depending on student's needs.
