About Justin
I started to learn guitar at 15 years old after watching Back to the Future and seeing Marty McFly tear it up on Johnny B. Goode.
Totally hooked I started to take lessons and soon started to figure out songs from records. No youtube back then!
After a few years I decided to give teaching a go and found I absolutely loved it.
I've played in various bands over the years and have experience playing live as a lead guitarist so I have a lot knowledge to offer to students. I've been teaching for well over 20 years and love to see students progress and get excited when they learn their favourite songs or master a difficult technique they may have struggling with.

I have been teaching guitar for over 20 years and have developed a firm understanding of how to cater to each students tastes and requirements for learning the guitar.
Lessons are packed with information and always musical. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs or delve deeper into theory and how to construct your own riffs and solos, I can help you whether it's pop, blues, rock, metal., acoustic or electric.
Each student receives a free workbook that will contain all their lesson material. Topics I cover include: chords, scales, modes, techniques, improvisation and writing.
I also cover basic guitar maintenance such as setting up your guitar and string changing for the beginner.
