About Ella
I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Manchester. I study Medicine with European Studies. I have had two hours of French teaching with a native speaker each week for the past four years. I spent a month in a French hospital in June of last year as part of the course, where I was on placement in child medicine. I am taking the DELF C1 French exam in March 2025. I got a 9 in GCSE French and an A* at A level. I am really looking to encourage students and help them with their French learning and make it feel a bit less daunting (as I know there is a lot of grammar to get your head around).

Lessons would be over Zoom for an hour. We can tailor each session based on what would be most useful to you/more challenging content. In our first session, we can get an idea of the content you've already covered, and make a plan together going forward in terms of what to focus on each week. I really want lessons to be fun and to encourage young people that French isn't that scary!! Pricing is to be discussed depending on length of lesson but will be around minimum wage
