About Me
I’m a Further Education teacher with 2 years’ experience teaching Biology and Health & Social Care in colleges, supporting learners to progress into higher education degree programmes including Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work, and more.
I hold a BSc in Healthcare Studies and have clinical healthcare experience, which allows me to explain biology clearly and in a practical, applied way to support your understanding. I am currently completing my PGCE in Further Education, equipping me with strong evidence-based teaching and learning techniques.

My lessons are carefully structured and purposeful to maximise progress. Each session typically begins with a brief review of prior knowledge to identify gaps and reinforce key concepts. I then provide clear, step-by-step explanations of new content, tailored to the student’s level and exam board requirements.
Students are guided through exam-style questions or relevant coursework tasks to apply their learning in a practical way. Throughout the lesson, I give targeted, constructive feedback, highlighting strengths as well as areas for improvement. Each session ends with clear next steps, including specific strategies and focus areas, so students know exactly what to work on between lessons. This structured approach helps build confidence, deepen understanding, and improve exam performance over time.
