About Mickael riviere

Currently following a training in Master of Didactics of languages FLE course, the prospect of working with learners constitutes for me a real motivation, because I have a certain experience in teaching and the creation of courses, both face-to-face and online, which I would like to continue to put into practice. Being particularly motivated by the many missions that can be carried out, I would be seduced by the possibility of being able to carry out tasks and activities that could help me to enrich my experience and bring me new insight.

Having a significant experience in teaching FLE remotely with Zoom and the Edmondo platform in Ethiopia, and as well as online with students from a Ukrainian University with Google Meet and Google Classroom, I learned to exploit optimally all the features of these applications for the creation of courses.

Also benefiting from experience in teaching French as a foreign language in a university environment and in a French alliance with an adult and adolescent audience in person, I had the opportunity as a French assistant in Taiwan to prepare students DELF A2, B1 and B2 tests.

I subsequently acquired skills in class management and in the production of educational sequences for courses in FLE, didactics, phonetics, French culture and business French with learners ranging from level A1 to C1. These experiences have taught me to understand what are the expectations and skills required of learners according to their level and their field of study.

Having a keen interest in teaching and broadening my experience, I would be delighted by the opportunity to work with learners in the Superprof network.

About the lesson

Preferably using, within the framework of my courses carried out online, applications such as Zoom or Google Meet, as well as course platforms such as Google Classroom, I have the possibility of exploiting these tools in an optimal way in order to create for example course sessions containing quizzes, assessments as well as lessons and course materials in various formats. The progress of the courses can be adapted according to the needs of the learner, depending for example on the need for the student to have to use a textbook, or another very specific course support, or to have to work primarily on the skills in written or oral production.

The courses that I offer can last 1 hour at least, and each lesson can be extended in its duration according to the requirements of the student.

Proceeding with a methodology specific to the outcome of my work and my experiences as a teacher, having been influenced by the action-oriented approach as well as by the neurolinguistic approach, I favor a teaching which makes it possible to promote the consolidation of knowledge in working on lessons related to the previous ones (for example, for beginners, I can create a lesson where it will be a question of learning numbers in French, which can then be followed by a lesson on time and another lesson where the student will learn to describe his day using present tense verbs and his knowledge of hours and minutes in French.

Depending on demand, the courses I offer may be perfectly suitable, for example, for learners as part of their schooling (from college to university), for students as part of a training course with a university objective, and for learners who want to study French for a specific purpose, as part of a training course or for professional reasons, a sector of activity or who want to prepare for the DELF/DALF certification ranging from level A1 to C1.
