About Charmita
Coffee and a quiet corner in a Melbourne cafe often set the scene for my best teaching moments. I hold a Master of Arts in Languages plus a PGCE from the University of Sydney. My 11 years of experience define how I handle Romance languages at the Year 11 to 12 level. I am a very direct person who enjoys the challenge of correcting pronunciation.
My focus remains on speaking, writing, listening, and total cultural immersion for every student. You will find that I value practical progress over memorizing endless lists of dry rules. Helping people navigate new identities through language is what keeps me sharp.
My background in the Melbourne French community informs how I relate to learners from all walks of life. I am always happy to discuss your language journey over a quick chat.

Many intermediate learners feel stuck when they try to move beyond basic travel phrases or simple hobbyist conversations. My lessons draw on my 11 years of experience and my PGCE qualification to provide a clear, mapped route forward.
Before we build your plan, we will start with a diagnostic level test to identify exactly where your skills sit today. We then move into focused pronunciation, grammar, and writing exercises that mimic real scenarios.
