About Alexandria
My name is Alexandria, and I’m a dedicated math tutor with a strong background in basic math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I & II. I work with elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve lasting success in math. I tailor each lesson to the student’s unique learning style, using clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and real-world examples. My sessions are structured, supportive, and focused on real understanding—not just memorization. What sets me apart is my patience, professionalism, and ability to make challenging material feel approachable. I create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging in their learning. Whether your goal is to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, I’m here to help make math more manageable—and even enjoyable.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down math concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, using visuals, real-world examples, and hands-on practice when helpful. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more engaging, helping students build a strong foundation and grow their confidence.
Each session begins with a quick review of what we previously covered, followed by the day’s main topic—whether that’s homework help, test prep, or strengthening core skills. I guide students through examples, encourage them to try problems on their own, and end with a short recap and suggestions for practice between sessions.
I’m patient, supportive, and truly enjoy helping students have those “aha!” moments. I have a solid math background along with a down-to-earth approach that helps students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students—especially those needing help with basic math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I & II.
Whether you/your child is just starting to learn math or preparing for a big test, I’m here to help them succeed.
