About Soumya
I am a musician and have been learning music since the time I was a kid of 2.5 years old. As for sitar, I have learned the instrument for 7 years now. During these 7 years, I have learned from great maestros, first-hand, like Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan and Niladri Kumar ji. I am an Indian Classical Musician and a professional freelancing Sitarist.

Beginner or advanced, if you have a sitar, you can learn sitar! A strong believer of- if you have a good foundation, you can do wonders later. Students are always encouraged to ask me questions. I like to present everything in a very simple manner while focusing on the technicalities and intricacies of the art. Last but not the least, the advanced lessons start only after the foundation level is strong.
